Job summary

Cone Health Medical Group is seeking a CRNA to provide anesthesia services across a full scope of practice. The role emphasizes maintaining patient safety, data review, and thorough documentation inside a collaborative care environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA) or its predecessor.

Responsibilities

• Collect, review, and evaluate data related to the patient’s medical and surgical history with consideration of the planned procedure.
• Maintain a safe environment and respond to emergencies and safety hazards.
• Prepare and administer medications and fluids per accepted safe-practice standards.
• Monitor airway, anesthesia depth, fluid status, and physiologic response to anesthesia for patient safety.
• Complete required documentation: surgical safety checklist, pre-operative assessment, intra-operative anesthetic record, transfer-of-care note.
• Log incident reports in the computerized Safety Portal.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
