Qualifications

• Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by a relevant council.

Responsibilities

• Assists with collecting and evaluating patient data and medical history for procedures.
• Maintains a safe environment and responds to emergencies and safety hazards.
• Prepares and administers medications and fluids per safe practice standards.
• Monitors airway, anesthesia depth, fluids status, and physiologic response to ensure patient safety.
• Completes required documentation (surgical safety checklist, pre-operative assessment, intra-operative anesthetic record, transfer-of-care note).
• Logs incident reporting in the Safety Portal.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
