Responsibilities

• Assists with data review of patient history and planned procedure.
• Maintains a safe environment and responds to emergencies and safety hazards.
• Prepares and administers medications and fluids per safe practice standards.
• Monitors airway, anesthesia depth, fluids status, and physiologic responses for patient safety.
• Completes documentation: surgical safety checklist, pre-operative assessment, intra-operative record, transfer note.
• Logs incidents in Safety Portal.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education

Graduate of COA-accredited nurse anesthesia program
