Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program as required.

Responsibilities

• Clinical responsibilities of the CRNA delineated by clinical privileges.
• Assist with collecting, reviewing, and evaluating data related to the patient’s medical and surgical history for planned procedures.
• Maintain a safe environment and respond to emergencies and safety hazards.
• Prepare and administer medications and fluids per safe practice standards.
• Monitor airway, anesthesia depth, fluid status, and physiologic response to ensure patient safety.
• Complete required documentation: surgical safety checklist, pre-operative assessment, intra-operative anesthetic record, and transfer-of-care note.
• Log incident reporting in the Safety Portal.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor
