Job summary

UAB Medicine is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join the anesthesia team at the UAB St. Vincent’s Birmingham campus.

The division includes 15 anesthesiologists and 70+ CRNAs, providing services to multiple facilities with a range of surgical specialties. As a CRNA, you will provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist and participate in the clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program required.
• Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests.
• Participate in the clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.
