Job summary

The role supports clinical instruction for nurse anesthesia students within a collegial, academic environment. Qualified candidates must graduate from an accredited nurse anesthesia program, hold an Alabama CRNA license, and maintain current BLS and ACLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program required.
• Alabama Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist license required.
• Current BLS certification and ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provides anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests.
• Participates in the clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.
• Key Responsibilities are performed under the direction of the anesthesiologists according to the policy and procedures of the Department of Anesthesiology.
