Job summary

Central Maine Long Term Care, Inc is seeking a Certified Residential Medication Aide to administer medications to residents at Bolster Heights in Auburn, ME. Per Diem shifts with flexible scheduling and supervision by licensed nursing staff.

The role requires a 40-hour certified medication administration credential and prior long-term care experience. A high school diploma is required, with potential on-the-job training for appropriate certificates.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Residential Care Specialist 1 or PSS certificate, may be trained within 4 months.
• State-approved 40-hour certificated medication administration certification.
• Previous experience in long-term care resident care preferred.
• Basic mathematical skills to administer dosages.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications to residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse and facility policies.
• Performs routine daily tasks to maintain residents’ health, comfort and well-being.
• Communicates with residents, families, medical staff and facility personnel.
• Follows state and federal regulations and facility procedures.
