Job summary

Central Maine Long Term Care, Inc is hiring Certified Residential Medication Aides (CRMA) for night shifts in a Maine facility. You will administer medications under supervision, assist with daily resident care, and work closely with licensed nurses and physicians to ensure resident wellbeing.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, a CRMA or PSS cert, 40-hour medication administration cert, and current BLS.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Residential Care Specialist 1 or Personal Support Specialist (PSS) Certificate; may be trained within 4 months of employment.
• State approved 40-hour certificated medication administration certification.
• Previous experience in long-term care resident care is preferred.
• Current BLS or within 90 days of hire and maintain current.
• Must possess basic mathematical skills to be able to accurately administer proper medication dosage.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications to residents in accordance with licensing and facility rules.
• Works under the supervision of a licensed nurse and physician orders.
• Performs routine daily tasks to maintain residents' health, comfort, and well-being.
• Interacts with residents, families, medical professionals and facility staff.
• May perform resident care when not acting as CRMA.
