Phoenix Children’s Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Security Dispatcher to join the PCH-MAIN | Security Services team in Phoenix.

The role handles emergency and non-emergency calls, monitors alarms and the PA system, and uses CAD, telephone systems and digital radios to coordinate responders. Responsibilities include monitoring systems, prioritizing urgent incidents, and maintaining confidentiality per hospital policy.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2+ years in a dispatch center using radio, PA systems, pagers and multi-line phones; dispatching under pressure is preferred.
• Experience monitoring CCTV, fire alarm panels, and radio channels is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Actively monitors dispatch center systems and reports outages per protocol.
• Relays critical information to internal and external responders via 2-way radio, phones, pagers, SMS and PA system.
• Answers calls promptly with approved phrasing and dispatches security officers based on urgency and location.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as requested.
