Job summary

Central Power Systems & Services is seeking a Critical Power Sales Specialist to drive field sales for Emergency Standby Generators (MTU/Rolls Royce) and allied products in the US market. You will collaborate with engineering, service, and inside sales to win opportunities and deliver projects.

Responsibilities include cultivating new accounts, building relationships with contractors and end-users, and creating tailored quotations while supporting post-sale service and maintenance programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the electrical industry, sales or field service roles.
• Direct experience with generators, UPS systems, electrical distribution, and/or switching systems preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree in business or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate sales opportunities with new and existing accounts.
• Develop relationships with electrical contractors, engineers and end-users.
• Develop working relationships with local trade associations and user groups.
• Spend time in the field with electrical contractors and end-users.
• Create and prepare quotations for projects as needed.
• Follow up on every opportunity and manage the sales cycle with inside sales.
• Maintain customer data and activity in the CRM.
• Collaborate with other sales teams to hand off leads.
• Promote Preventative Maintenance Agreements with customers.
