Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a field-based technician for the Critical Power Group to inspect, service, and repair UPS and battery systems at mission-critical facilities.

You will perform preventive maintenance, respond to emergencies, and coordinate with subcontractors on-site to ensure safety and reliability. This role requires 5+ years of OEM experience in power electronics, NEC familiarity, and the ability to travel 24/7 as needed.

Qualifications

• AA/BS degree in Electrical and/or Electronics or equivalent military training.
• 5+ years OEM experience in power electronics maintenance and repair.
• Experience with UPS systems, batteries, test equipment, and switchgears.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service, and troubleshoot UPS systems and batteries.
• Perform preventive maintenance and emergency service calls at customer facilities.
• Coordinate on-site subcontractors and provide technical support to customers.
