Job summary

JLL is seeking an Operations Manager in Wilson, NC to lead a critical facilities team responsible for ensuring operational continuity of high‑value environments. The role focuses on client relationship management, strategic initiatives, and adherence to SLAs and KPIs in a demanding, mission critical setting.

The ideal candidate has seven-plus years of leadership in critical facilities, strong technical knowledge, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum seven years’ experience leading a critical facilities management team (UPS, Generator, Mechanical, Life Safety).
• Knowledge of standard business and accounting practices.
• Solid technical knowledge of critical technology environment systems.
• Ability to manage a high volume of highly complex tasks in a mission critical environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong computer proficiency in Word, Excel, Adobe and Microsoft Project.
• Experience with MS Office suite and CMMS databases.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall team management, staff development and planning.
• Execute staff succession and growth plans.
• Develop and maintain positive client relationships.
• Drive strategic initiatives and operationalize them to meet client expectations.
• Ensure SLA/KPI are met and develop action plans for improvements.
• Set and manage service delivery commitments with clients and customers.
• Manage deliverables from initiation to completion.
• Develop and implement programs to reduce costs and increase productivity with leadership input.
• Ensure deliverables align with MSAs, SLAs and KPIs.
• Guide vendors and expand team capabilities.
