Qualifications

• Active-duty U.S. military member or military spouse eligible for SkillBridge or MSCAP.
• Military service member nearing separation window or military spouse.
• Comprehensive knowledge of critical infrastructure: UPS, generators, BMS, chillers, life safety systems.
• HVAC coursework, heat transfer, and thermodynamics.
• Knowledge of HVAC testing and balancing methodologies.
• Background in IT, networking, electronics, electrical/electrician work, HVAC, or skilled mechanical trades, or willingness to learn a new skill.
• Good time management and ability to multitask and sustain focus on long tasks.
• Ability to communicate thoughts and technical ideas.
• Ability to prioritize effectively and balance assigned work.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Presentation skills with colleagues and clients at all levels.
• Flexibility to work any assigned shift in a 24/7 operation, fill in for coworkers, and respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Complete repairs, corrective maintenance, and routine installations of critical-facility infrastructure.
• Perform site inspections and supervise building and data-center alarms.
• Perform preventive maintenance on on-site infrastructure or lead vendors.
• Undertake repairs and corrective maintenance.
• Complete site logs and data gathering.
• Issue basic permits, such as MOPs and scripts.
• Respond to all on-site incidents and act as needed.
• Complete routine work requests and circuit installations.
• Assist with critical maintenance activities.

Job description
