Indiana University Health is looking for a full-time Paramedic based in Terre Haute, IN. Responsibilities include the care and transport of patients in both emergency and non-emergency situations, relaying information regarding patient conditions, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and hospital policies. Candidates must have at least a high school diploma, 3 years of ALS Paramedic experience, and various certifications including Indiana Paramedic license and ACLS. Formación

• Minimum of 3 years ALS Paramedic experience.
• Certified Flight Paramedic certification within 18 months of hire.
• Trauma Certification including ITLS or PHTLS within 6 months of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Care, transport, and treatment of ill/injured patients.
• Relay information regarding the patient and their condition.
• Comply with all regulatory requirements and hospital policies.

Conocimientos

Indiana Paramedic license

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Basic Life Support (BLS)

Ability to make independent decisions
