Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking a Paramedic for Bloomington, IN with 12-hour shifts. Requirements include EMT-P Paramedic license in Indiana, BLS, ACLS, PALS, EVOC, and NIMS certifications; 1 year ALS experience preferred. May require driving and billing duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• ACLS; BLS; PALS; EMT-P Indiana Paramedic license required.
• PALS or its equivalency to be obtained within initial probationary period.
• EVOC or its equivalency must be obtained within initial probationary period.
• NIMS 100, 200, 700, 800 to be obtained with initial probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Care for, transport, and treat ill/injured patients in emergency and non-emergency situations.
• Relay and receive information regarding patient condition.
• Comply with regulatory requirements, departmental policies, safety policies and hospital operating within the Paramedic scope.
• May drive ambulance and transport patients as needed; assist in billing and daily reports.
