Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Indiana Paramedic license required.
• ACLS;BLS;PALS required.
• EVOC or equivalent within initial probationary period.
• NIMS 100, 200, 700, 800 to be obtained within initial probationary period.
• Minimum of 1 year ALS Paramedic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for ill/injured patients in emergency and non-emergency settings.
• Relate and receive information regarding patient condition.
• Comply with regulatory requirements, department policies and safety policies.
• Relate to neonatal, pediatric, adult, and elderly patients within scope of practice.
• Possibly drive ambulance to and from referral hospital and transport patients.
• Record ambulance run times and assist with billing and daily reports.
