Job summary

PHI Health, LLC Madison, IN seeks a flight paramedic to deliver safe, comprehensive care to critically ill and/or injured patients in pre-hospital and inter-facility transport. You will apply specialized flight paramedic practices, emergency procedures, and diagnostics.

Must have active paramedic certification, 3–5 years of field experience, and BLS/ACLS/PALS/PEPP; instructor certs and FP-C within 24 months are preferred. Strong communication and ongoing education are required.

Qualifications

• Active paramedic certification in the state employed.
• Minimum of three years (five years preferred) of current paramedic field experience in a busy 911/pre-hospital service.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP and PHTLS/ITLS. NRP preferred.
• Instructor certifications preferred.
• FP-C within 24 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, comprehensive care to critically ill/injured patients in pre-hospital and inter-facility transport.
• Document accurate information for assessment, treatment, and billing of transports.
• Maintain communication with management and internal/external customers.
• Participate in PR and marketing activities and maintain knowledge of flight paramedic scope of practice.
