Job summary

Sierra Medical Center in Reno, NV is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to support the Critical Care team under RN supervision. You will assist with patient care, monitor rhythms, stock supplies and coordinate clerical tasks while upholding our standards of dignity and safety.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Current CNA certification in Nevada.
• Current BLS certificate.
• Advanced cardiac rhythm competency within 6 months of hire.
• Healthstream course AACN: Essentials of ECG & Dysrhythmia Monitoring within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Answers the telephone and intercom in a timely and polite manner.
• Treats patients and their families with respect and dignity.
• Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes safety and reduces errors.
• Monitors ECG signals at the central monitoring station and notifies RN of arrhythmias.
