Sierra Medical Center, part of Northern Nevada Health System, seeks a CNA to provide indirect patient care under the direct supervision of the Critical Care RN. You will monitor cardiac rhythms via telemetry, assist with patient needs, restock unit supplies, and coordinate communications with families and medical staff.

Responsibilities include answering calls, respecting patient dignity, ensuring safety, and documenting orders.

Competenze

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Current CNA certification in Nevada.
• Current BLS certificate.
• Advanced cardiac rhythm competency within 6 months of hire.
• Healthstream course AACN: Essentials of ECG & Dysrhythmia Monitoring within 6 months of hire.

Mansioni

• Answers the telephone and intercom in a timely, polite manner and forwards messages.
• Treats patients and families with respect and dignity, addressing psychosocial, cultural, ethnic, and spiritual needs.
• Performs patient care with emphasis on safety, infection control, and reduction of medical errors.
• Monitors ECG signals at central station and alerts RN of any arrhythmias.

Formazione

High School graduate or equivalent

Current CNA certification in NV
