Sierra Medical Center, part of Northern Nevada Health System in Nevada, seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide indirect patient care under the supervision of the Critical Care RN. You will monitor cardiac rhythms, restock supplies, and coordinate clerical tasks while communicating with patients and families.

The role requires Nevada CNA certification, a current BLS certificate, and ECG rhythm competency within 6 months. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Competenze

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Current CNA certification in Nevada.
• Current BLS certificate.
• Advanced cardiac rhythm competency within 6 months of hire.
• Healthstream course AACN: Essentials of ECG & Dysrhythmia Monitoring within 6 months of hire.

• Answers the telephone and intercom promptly and courteously.
• Cares for patients and families with dignity and respects cultural/spiritual needs.
• Supports patient safety, infection control and reduces medical errors.
• Monitors ECG signals and notifies RN of any arrhythmias.
