Cooper Norcross Health is seeking a part-time Critical Care Tech to support a busy medical-surgical unit in Camden, NJ. The role assists with activities of daily living, performs technical duties under the supervision of an RN, and participates in rounds and discharge planning to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

Requirements include 0-2 years of experience, High School/GED, PCT training with active PCT Certification, and AHA BLS, CPT/CPCT-A/ACMA certifications.

Qualifikationen

• 0-2 years’ experience required.
• High School/GED required.
• Successful completion of Patient Care Technician training and have an active Patient Care Technician Certification required.
• AHA Basic Life Support certification required.
• Successful completion of CPT, CPCT-A, or ACMA certification.

Aufgaben

• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding, hygiene, mobility, transport) under RN direction.
• Perform phlebotomy, vital signs, point-of-care testing, EKGs, Foley catheter care as directed by RN.
• Identify and communicate changes in patient status to the RN and respond appropriately.
• Reinforce education for patients and families regarding care needs and safety.
• Participate in patient satisfaction initiatives and contribute to performance improvement activities.
• Complete annual hospital and unit-specific competencies by the due date.
