Job summary

MetroHealth in Ohio is seeking a Critical Care Step Down RN for 7 West. The unit cares for congestive heart failure, COPD, DKA, and sepsis with a 24-bed capacity and a 5:1 patient ratio in a high-acuity CCU setting.

You'll perform EKG interpretation, central line care, and bedside procedures, with rotating shifts 7a-7p and weekends/holidays. Sign-on bonus up to $10,000 for experienced RNs and $5,000 for new grads, plus tuition reimbursement and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with active Ohio RN license.
• BLS certification; ACLS preferred or obtained within 6 months.
• Experience in critical care or step-down settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interpret EKGs and monitor cardiac rhythms for ICU-level patients.
• Perform central line care and manage ventilatory support as needed.
• Assist with bedside procedures (endoscopies/bronchoscopies) and coordinate with team.
