Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking an experienced registered nurse to join the Critical Care Step Down Unit 7 West in Ohio. The role focuses on providing comprehensive nursing care for patients with conditions such as CHF, COPD, DKA, and sepsis, within a high-acuity setting.

You will perform advanced nursing duties including monitoring, airway management, and bedside procedures, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification.
• Current ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care on the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West).
• Assist with bedside procedures and respond to patient needs with prioritised care.
• Collaborate with PCNAs, interns, providers and rehab/therapy staff.
