Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West, in Broadview Heights, Ohio. You will provide high-acuity care with telemetry monitoring, EKG interpretation, central line care, and bedside procedures in a 24-bed CCSD. This full-time role requires Ohio RN licensure, BLS (within 90 days) and ACLS (within 6 months).

BSN is preferred. The unit operates a 7a–7p/7p–7a rotating schedule with rotating weekends and holidays and includes a sign-on bonus for

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West) with telemetry monitoring.
• Assist with bedside procedures and respiratory support (BiPAP, High Flow Oxygen, Trach/Vents).
• Interpret EKGs and perform central line care as part of daily duties.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, delegation, and time management in a fast-paced environment.
