Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West, in Cleveland, OH. The role involves caring for congestive heart failure, COPD, DKA, and sepsis patients with telemetry monitoring and complex procedures.

Qualifications include an accredited nursing program graduate and Ohio RN licensure; BLS required, ACLS within 6 months, and BSN preferred. This full-time position offers a sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio RN license is required.
• AHA BLS for healthcare providers certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Interpret EKGs and monitor telemetry in high-acuity patients.
• Assist with bedside procedures (endoscopies, bronchoscopies) and manage respiratory support.
• Provide care for 24-bed CCU/step-down unit with 5:1 nurse-patient ratio.
