The role involves caring for patients with CHF, COPD, DKA, and sepsis, with rotations and weekend/holiday shifts. Join a team utilizing telemetry, bedside procedures, and high-acuity nursing skills.

Required Ohio RN license, BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and PRN experience criteria. Competitive benefits and OPERS retirement are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation).
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio
• Current BLS for healthcare providers certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire
• PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience
• PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire

Responsibilities

• Clinical nursing care in a Critical Care Step Down Unit setting.
• Interpreting EKGs and monitoring patient status.
• Performing Central Line care and associated procedures.
• Administering respiratory therapies (BiPAP, high-flow oxygen) and managing airway devices (trach/vent).
• Assisting with bedside procedures (endoscopies, bronchoscopies).
• Demonstrating critical thinking, delegating tasks, and managing time effectively
