Job summary

MetroHealth Main Campus is seeking an RN for the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West) at the MetroHealth Main Campus- Glick location. The role involves direct patient care on a 14-bed unit, telemetry monitoring, and bedside procedures within a high-acuity environment.

Required qualifications include Ohio RN licensure, BLS (within 90 days), ACLS (within 6 months), and 1 year of RN experience for PRN roles, with potential for tuition reimbursement and certification incentives.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN licensure in the State of Ohio.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider required or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS certification required or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience.
• PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on the 14-bed Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West).
• Interpret and respond to telemetry data and patient needs.
• Perform bedside procedures and assist with endoscopies/bronchoscopies as needed.
• Collaborate with PCNAs, Nurse Interns, Providers, PT/OT to ensure coordinated care.
• Prioritize patient safety, manage time efficiently, and exercise clinical judgment.
