Job summary

MetroHealth is hiring registered nurses for the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West) in Parma, OH. The role features 72 bi-weekly hours in a full-time schedule with rotating weekends and holidays.

Qualified candidates will hold Ohio RN licensure, BLS and ACLS (or obtain per hire) and preferably BSN. Sign-on bonuses up to $10,000 for experienced RNs and $5,000 for new graduates are available, along with tuition reimbursement and certification incentives.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing or an eligible program.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West).
• Interpret EKGs and manage complex cardiac patients.
• Assist with bedside procedures and airway management (Bi-PAP, high flow oxygen, Trach/Vents).
• Collaborate with care team including PCNAs, interns and providers to ensure patient safety and outcomes.
