Job summary

MetroHealth in Parma, OH, is seeking an experienced RN for the Critical Care Step-Down Unit (7 West). The unit has 24 beds and a 5:1 nurse-to-patient ratio, with bi-weekly hours totaling 72 across day/night rotations and rotating weekends/holidays.

The role features up to a $10,000 sign-on bonus for qualified RNs, plus comprehensive benefits including tuition reimbursement, certification incentives, and medical/dental insurance through a public employer plan.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current RN licensure in the State of Ohio.
• ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• BLS for healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• EKG interpretation and telemetry monitoring.
• Care for critical care patients with lines, vents and respiratory support.
• Assist with bedside procedures (endoscopies, bronchoscopies).
• Collaborate with PCNAs, interns, providers, PT and OT.
