Job summary

MetroHealth's Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West in Parma Heights, OH, is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time role with a 72-hour bi-weekly schedule and 7a-7p with rotating weekends/holidays.

We offer up to a $10,000 sign-on bonus for experienced RNs and $5,000 for new graduates, with comprehensive benefits including tuition reimbursement, certification incentives, medical/dental insurance, and OPERS retirement.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing or a program seeking accreditation.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio and BLS; ACLS preferred/within 6 months.
• CCU/step-down experience or strong med-surg background with critical care skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct bedside nursing in the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West).
• Monitor telemetry, manage vents/airways, and perform bedside procedures as needed.
• Collaborate with PCNAs, interns, providers and therapists to deliver care.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, prioritization and timely task delegation.
