Job summary

MetroHealth’s Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West) in Ohio seeks a dedicated RN to support patients with CHF, COPD, DKA and sepsis. Bi-weekly 72 hours, full-time shifts 7a-7p/7p-7a with rotating weekends and holidays. Sign-on bonus up to $10,000 for experienced RNs and $5,000 for new grads.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in the Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West.
• Perform EKG interpretation and central line care.
• Assist with bedside procedures (endoscopies, bronchoscopies).
• Demonstrate critical thinking, delegation, and time management.
