Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking an experienced RN for its Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West) at the Main Campus. The role involves comprehensive patient care for conditions like CHF, COPD, DKA, and Sepsis, with rotating 12-hour shifts and rotating weekends/holidays.

Required Ohio RN licensure, BLS, and ACLS; a BSN is preferred. The unit includes 14 beds and offers robust benefits, including tuition reimbursement and retirement options under OPERS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in Ohio.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers.
• Current ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• PRN: 1 year of RN experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care on the Critical Care Step Down Unit 7 West.
• Interpret ECGs and respond to arrhythmias.
• Assist with bedside procedures (endoscopies, bronchoscopies).
• Manage patient monitoring, tubes, and ventilator support as needed.
