Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking an experienced RN for the Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West, at MetroHealth Main Campus- Glick. The role involves rotating shifts (7a-7p/7p-7a) with rotating weekends and holidays, on a unit with 14 beds and bi-weekly hours totaling 72.

Join our team to deliver high-quality patient-centered care in a Level One Trauma Center setting, utilizing advanced telemetry and bedside procedures while supporting colleagues and patients.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program.
• Current Ohio RN licensure.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience.
• PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform EKG interpretation.
• Care for central lines and associated routines.
• Provide rescue BiPAP, high flow oxygen, Trach/vent care.
• Assist with bedside procedures (endoscopies, bronchoscopies).
• Demonstrate critical thinking, delegation and time management.
