Job summary

MetroHealth Main Campus- Glick in Northeast Ohio is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 7 West Critical Care Step Down Unit. This unit operates on a rotating schedule (7a–7p / 7p–7a) with rotating weekends and holidays; bi-weekly hours total 72.

It serves patients with congestive heart failure, COPD, DKA and sepsis using telemetry and advanced technology. Required qualifications include Ohio RN licensure, BLS (within 90 days) and ACLS (within 6 months); PRN requires 1 year of RN experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Ohio RN licensure.
• BLS certification with 90 days of hire; ACLS within 6 months; PRN requires 1 year RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care on a 14-bed Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West).
• Collaborate with PCNAs, interns, providers, PT and OT.
• Provide telemetry and bedside procedures with critical thinking and time management.
