Job summary

MetroHealth in Ohio is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West. You will provide high-quality patient care in a high-acuity environment, including monitoring, bedside procedures, and vent support. Excellent teamwork with PCNAs, interns and providers is essential as part of a 24-bed unit.

Required RN licensure in Ohio, BLS; ACLS within 6 months. Up to $10k sign-on for experienced RNs, $5k for new grads, with strong benefits including tuition reimbursement and OPERS

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Ohio RN license.
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Preferred BSN degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West).
• Assist with bedside procedures and participate in critical care interventions.
• Monitor patients with telemetry, ventilator support, and hemodynamic care.
• Collaborate with PCNAs, interns, providers to ensure high-quality care.
