Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West) at the MetroHealth Main Campus- Glick location. The unit supports patients with congestive heart failure, COPD, sepsis, DKA and related critical conditions.

Responsibilities include EKG interpretation, central line care, and assisting with procedures while ensuring patient safety and timely care. Ohio RN licensure, BLS, and ACLS are required, with PRN specifics noted.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN licensure in the State of Ohio.
• BLS certification within 90 days or at hire.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• PRN requires 1 year of RN experience.
• PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide RN care in a 14-bed Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West).
• Perform EKG interpretation and central line care.
• Assist with bedside procedures (endoscopies, bronchoscopies).
• Monitor patients with telemetry and critical care equipment.
• Collaborate with PCNAs, nurses, providers, PT and OT.
