Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West) at the MetroHealth Main Campus- Glick. This role supports patients with congestive heart failure, COPD, DKA, and sepsis, requiring expertise in EKG interpretation, central line care, BiPAP/high-flow oxygen, and bedside procedures.

Night/day rotating shifts include weekends/holidays. The ideal candidate has Ohio RN licensure, BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and patient-care experience in critical care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing or a program seeking accreditation.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification (ACLS within 6 months) or obtained within the hire timeline.
• ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• PRN requires 1 year of RN experience.
• PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire.
