Job summary

MetroHealth Main Campus- Glick is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West. You will work rotating shifts on a 14-bed unit, providing high acuity care for patients with CHF, COPD, DKA, and sepsis, including EKG interpretation and central line management.

This role requires Ohio RN licensure, BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and a minimum of 1 year RN experience for PRN. MetroHealth offers strong benefits and OPERS retirement participation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current RN licensure in the State of Ohio.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire and BLS for Healthcare Providers.
• PRN requires 1 year of RN experience and must have required certifications on hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide care on a 14-bed Critical Care Step Down unit (7 West).
• Interpret EKGs and manage patient monitoring.
• Assist with bedside procedures (endoscopies, bronchoscopies).
• Support with central line care and critical patient needs.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, delegation, and time management.
