AdventHealth in Sebring, FL seeks a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for PRN night shifts. The role requires 1+ year of critical care experience, NBRC credential, and state-licensed RRT.

You will provide airway management, ventilation support, and inhaled therapies in a hospital setting, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Requirements include an Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy, BLS, and active NBRC/RRT credentials.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy; Bachelor's preferred.
• State Registered Respiratory Therapist license required.
• NBRC credential must be maintained as a condition of continued eligibility.
• 1+ year of critical care experience required.

Responsibilities

• Performs airway maintenance incl. intubation per facility needs.
• Delivers inhaled medications and manages ventilation therapies.
• Documents and charges procedures accurately.
• Responds to Code Blue emergencies with CPR per AHA guidelines.
• Sets patient goals and develops a care plan with the multidisciplinary team.
• Monitors diagnostic data and lab results.
• Communicates effectively with the multidisciplinary team.
• Completes department orientation and critical care training.
