Job summary

AdventHealth Sebring is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide airway management, inhaled therapies, and ventilator support in a critical care setting. You will document treatments, respond to emergencies, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team.

Requires Associate's degree, RRT licensure, BLS, and 1+ year in critical care. Night shift, PRN schedule, and benefits. This role supports compassionate, whole-person care as part of AdventHealth's mission.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in respiratory therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science.
• 1+ year of critical care experience is required.
• RRT state license and NBRC credential are required.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform airway maintenance, including intubation and ventilation care.
• Deliver inhaled medications and lung expansion therapies.
• Document procedures accurately and bill accordingly.
• Respond to Code Blue emergencies with CPR per AHA guidelines.
• Assess patients and develop care plans with the multidisciplinary team.
• Monitor diagnostic data and interpret results.
• Operate and monitor mechanical ventilators and related devices.
• Complete orientation and critical care training programs.
