Job summary

MetroHealth’s Critical Care Step-Down Unit, 7 West, is seeking a passionate RN to provide high-acuity care in a 24-bed unit. You'll interpret EKGs, manage central lines, and support BiPAP/vented patients with telemetry monitoring.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current RN licensure in Ohio.
• ACLS certification or obtain within 6 months of hire is preferred.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers current or obtained within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in the Critical Care Step-Down (CCSD) unit.
• Collaborate with PCNAs, interns, providers, and rehab staff.
• Participate in bedside procedures and monitoring (telemetry, vents, high-flow oxygen).
• Utilize critical thinking and time management to manage 24-bed CCSD unit.
