Job summary

MetroHealth in Ohio is seeking an RN for the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West) with 72 Bi-Weekly hours on a rotating shift. The role involves high-acuity cardio-purgical patients and requires Ohio RN licensure, BLS (and ACLS within 6 months).

New graduates may be eligible for sign-on bonuses up to $5,000 and experienced RNs up to $10,000. MetroHealth offers strong benefits, tuition reimbursement, and OPERS retirement.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Current BLS for healthcare providers or obtain within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS certification or obtain within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care in the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West).
• Perform and assist with bedside procedures and responses to emergencies.
• Monitor patients using telemetry and manage ventilatory support as needed.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, delegation, and time management in a fast-paced unit.
