Job summary

MetroHealth in Ohio is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West. The role includes cardiac care, telemetry monitoring, and bedside procedures in a high-acuity setting.

Requirements include Ohio RN licensure, BLS (within 90 days), and ACLS (within 6 months). Bi-weekly 72-hour schedules with rotating weekends/holidays. Sign-on bonuses up to $10,000 for experienced RNs and $5,000 for new graduates.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West) and Cardiac Hospitalist Unit.
• Interpret ECGs and monitor telemetry.
• Perform bedside procedures (endoscopies, bronchoscopies) as needed.
• Manage patient care with time management and delegation to staff.
