Job summary

Aultman Health Foundation seeks a Registered Nurse to provide direct, primary nursing care to patients/residents in our SICU or MICU units. The RN will delegate and coordinate patient care based on assessed needs and supervise licensed staff as appropriate.

The role requires BLS (RQI) and an active Ohio RN license; BSN is preferred. Responsibilities include patient advocacy, safety, and collaboration with physicians and the healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current, active licensure as a Registered Nurse through the Ohio Board of Nursing.
• AHA training in Basic Life Support (BLS) utilizing Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) is required.
• Certification preferred for RNs meeting applicable certification eligibility.
• Membership in professional nursing organization preferred.

Responsibilities

• RN applies nursing process of assessment, planning interventions, and delivering care.
• Delivers direct, primary nursing care to patients/residents and coordinates care.
• Supervises care by LPNs, CNAs, and other staff as applicable.
• Fosters patient safety, comfort and satisfaction in collaboration with the healthcare team.
