Job summary

University Hospital, part of Michigan Medicine at the University of Michigan, seeks a Registered Nurse for the MICU. This 20-bed unit cares for critically ill adults with conditions including ARDS, sepsis, and multi-system failures. You will provide primary care, use the nursing process, and participate in health activities.

Qualifications include Michigan RN license, 2+ years medical experience, ACLS (or within 6 months). Preferred BSN and ICU/PACU experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Current Michigan RN license for all candidates that have passed the NCLEX.
• Two or more years general medical experience.
• ACLS certification is required, or within six months of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to provide primary care to critically ill medical patients/families who experience a wide variety of complex, multi-system health problems and to participate in health activities.
