Job summary

ChristianaCare's MICU team is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide expert care for critically ill patients in a high-acuity environment at Christiana Hospital. This full-time 36-hour weekly schedule includes night shift rotations and opportunities to work with advanced technology.

You will collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team, advocate for patients and families, and participate in continuous learning supported by robust benefits, tuition assistance, PTO, and a 403(b) plan.

Qualifications

• BSN required; ADN considered with BSN commitment within 3 years.
• Minimum 1 year acute care experience required.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred (must obtain within 6 months of hire).
• Night shift; full-time 36 hrs/week with rotations.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert care for critically ill patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
• Partner with physicians, specialists, and a multidisciplinary team to deliver life-saving interventions.
• Advocate for patients and families during their most vulnerable moments.
