Job summary

ChristianaCare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Medical Intensive Care Unit at Christiana Hospital in Newark, DE. This full-time night shift with day rotations offers a fast-paced, high-acuity environment where you will deliver expert critical care and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

BSN is required (ADN considered with commitment to obtain BSN within 3 years); minimum 1 year acute care experience; BLS is required with ACLS preferred (must obtain within 6 months).

• Minimum 1 year acute care experience required
• BLS required; ACLS preferred (must obtain within 6 months of hire)

Responsibilities

• Provide expert care for critically ill patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Partner with physicians, specialists, and a multidisciplinary team to deliver life-saving interventions
• Advocate for patients and families during their most vulnerable moments
• Use advanced monitoring and treatment strategies to achieve the best outcomes
