Job summary

ChristianaCare’s Medical Intensive Care Unit is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our MICU team at Christiana Hospital. You will deliver expert critical care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and provide compassionate support to patients and families in high-acuity settings.

This role requires a BSN (ADN considered with BSN commitment within 3 years), at least 1 year of acute care experience, BLS, and ACLS (preferred, within 6 months).

Qualifications

• BSN required; ADN considered with BSN commitment within 3 years.
• Minimum 1 year acute care experience.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred (must obtain within 6 months of hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide expert care for critically ill patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Partner with physicians, specialists, and a multidisciplinary team to deliver life-saving interventions
• Advocate for patients and families during their most vulnerable moments
• Use advanced monitoring and treatment strategies to achieve the best outcomes
