Job summary

ChristianaCare is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical Intensive Care Unit at Christiana Hospital. This full-time night shift with day rotations offers a 36-hour weekly schedule and a supportive, high-acuity environment where compassion and rapid decision-making are essential.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver life-saving interventions, advocate for patients and families, and leverage advanced monitoring technologies to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• BSN required; ADN considered with BSN commitment within 3 years.
• Minimum 1 year acute care experience required.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred (must obtain within 6 months of hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide expert care for critically ill patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Partner with physicians, specialists, and a multidisciplinary team to deliver life-saving interventions
• Advocate for patients and families during their most vulnerable moments
• Use advanced monitoring and treatment strategies to achieve the best outcomes
