Job summary

ChristianaCare’s MICU at Christiana Hospital seeks a Registered Nurse for the Medical Intensive Care Unit. The role is full-time with night shifts and day rotations, totaling 36 hours per week, in a high-acuity setting.

You will work with physicians and a multidisciplinary team, monitor patients with advanced tech, advocate for families, and contribute to continuous learning and excellence in care.

Qualifications

• BSN required; ADN considered with BSN commitment within 3 years.
• Minimum 1 year acute care experience required.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred (must obtain within 6 months of hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide expert care for critically ill patients in a high-acuity environment.
• Partner with physicians and multidisciplinary team to deliver interventions.
• Advocate for patients and families during vulnerable moments.
• Use advanced monitoring and treatment strategies to improve outcomes.
